    ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

You are invited to the ANNUAL PARISH MEETING  of Wilsford Parish Council which will be held on Wednesday 11 May 2022 in the Conservatory at The Plough Inn.

The meeting enables registered electors to discuss parish affairs and pass resolutions thereon. It is also an opportunity for the council and the community group leaders to update the community about their activities over the past year and outline plans.

You may ask questions of the Council which will be usually answered by the Chairman, Parish Clerk, or a designated councillor. You may make suggestions and comment on parish issues and propose resolutions.

The Chairman of the Council Simon Davey will chair the meeting. All other councillors usually attend the meeting, but this is not compulsory. They will speak if required, but the purpose of the meeting is to enable the electors to have their say. Councillors will listen with interest and as electors themselves, also can raise questions and make comments if they wish.

A written record of the meeting will be taken by the Parish Clerk and kept. The rules on the signature and admissibility of minutes are the same as those for Parish Council meetings.

2.    To resolve to approve and accept as a true record the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 14 May 2019 (due to Covid no Annual Parish Meetings were held in 2020 and 2021) and the Chairman to sign as a true record (copies will be available at the meeting).
